Aims & Scope
The Romanian Journal of Society and Politics (ISSN: 1582-5795; e-ISSN: 2393-3224) is a a long-standing Romanian scientific journal edited by the Faculty of Political Science within the National University of Political Science and Public Administration (SNSPA), Bucharest, Romania and the Project for Civic Education and Academic Development Foundation (ECDA) which aims to publish high-quality, original research papers in the fields of political science, political theory, international relations, European studies and security studies.
The journal first appeared in 2001, under the auspices of ECDA and the Romanian Society of Political Science. After a period of discontinued publication during the years 2007-2010, it was reestablished in 2011 within SNSPA and it has appeared on a semi-annually basis ever since. In 2015 the journal has published 12 regular articles.
The RJSP regular issues normally appear during the months of June and December. While occasionally proposing thematic issues, RJSP accepts contributions of general interest within the fields specified above, at any time during the year. The journal strictly adheres to a double-blind peer-review policy. Please see the Instructions for Authors section and the Call for Papers for more information. RJSP does not have any article processing charges or article submission charges. The journal promotes an open access policy and adheres to open access principles as set out in the Budapest Open Access Initiative, the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities and the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing. The Romanian Journal of Society and Politics has significant global exposure, with both authors and reviewers drawn from a national as well as international background. At the present time, the journal has an h-index of 5 and a g-index of 8, with more than 50 of its articles having been cited at least once.
